Our Senior Support Workers work in partnership with people we support, enabling them to live as independently as possible and to be part of their local community.
What do we look for in a Senior Support Worker?
More about the role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will support the Service Manager to ensure the smooth running of our service. The service you will be based at in Cardiff currently supports 1 person, who enjoys social activities such as concerts and events. You will have a particular focus on supporting independence and helping people pursue their interest and be active members of their local community.
You will supervise a team of Support Workers, providing encouragement and guidance to achieve the best quality support and practise. This role will allow you to gain new skills and build on your experience for future progression and development. Ideally you will have already obtained your Level 3 Health and Social Care, and will have previous experience in a supporting role.
