Senior Support Worker, Bootle
39 hours per week
£27,104 per annum pro rata based on 39 hours per week
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be committed to supporting people in a positive, creative way that enables people to live a fulfilled life. You will support the Service Manager in leading a team who work hard to encourage the people we support to live as independently as possible and to be part of their local community.
You will demonstrate best practice and be a role model for the team. In your new role you will receive ongoing support to ensure your continued professional development and obtain your Diploma Level 3 in Adult Care (RQF).
Senior Support Workers are supported by the manager of the service where they are assigned to work. Senior Support Workers will deputise for the Service Manager where required. Staff are provided their working rota 4 weeks in advance by the Service Manager. Shifts patterns will also include some evening and weekend work. Where sleep in shifts are required at a service, this will be discussed further at interview with the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and your career.
Given the nature of the role, these positions are subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure for the successful applicants. The cost of which will be met by Autism Initiatives.
